The EC7 in those terms packs quite a punch. It has a dual motor that is made out of a 300 kW high-performance induction motor and 180 kW high-efficiency permanent magnet motor delivering 480 kW (around 643 horsepower) with a maximum torque of 850 Nm. It accelerates from 0 to 60 mph in a claimed 3.8 seconds. In order to stop the EC7 after accelerating to 60 mph in 110 feet, which is better than some other SUVs in this segment, Nio installed Brembo six-piston calipers and 380mm vented brake discs. To help with the performance the EC7 became the SUV with the lowest drag coefficient in the world at 0.230cd.
