Graphite Hard Felt has excellent ablation resistance, thermal shock resistance, airflow erosion resistance, and thermal insulation performance. Asphalt represented by Japan Kureha is the mainstream in the insulation industry. Insulation felts in Europe and the United States are basically based on viscose, while most of China uses polypropylene as the raw material. The process is to cut the polyacrylonitrile-based carbon felt or viscose-based carbon felt into the required size, roll it into a tube and put it into a container made of a graphite material, and place the graphite container in a high-temperature furnace (the high-temperature furnace is a graphite tube furnace, intermediate frequency, High-frequency induction furnace or other high-temperature furnaces with the heating method), with the protection of vacuum or high-purity inert gas, heating to 2200 ~ 2500 ℃ at a heating rate of 100 ~ 300 ℃ / h, then naturally cool to 100 ℃.
