Soft Felt - Graphite Felt
Definition Of Graphite Felt
At the end of the 1960s, there was already a supply of graphite felt in the world. Graphite felts are classified into three types: pitch-based, polyacrylonitrile-based graphite felts and viscose-based graphite felt due to the different raw felts.

Performance And Application
The main use of Soft Graphite Felt is as a thermal insulation material for single crystal silicon smelting furnace. In the chemical industry, it can be used as a filter material for high purity corrosive chemical reagents.
In addition to their high purity, high-temperature resistance, corrosion resistance, and non-melting characteristics, Soft Graphite Felt also have the advantages of elasticity, foldability, tailoring, and sewing with graphite yarn.
Polyacrylonitrile-based Soft Graphite Felt is stronger and more resistant to oxidation than viscose-based graphite felt, graphite felt has poor flexibility, large bulk density, and good thermal insulation performance.
