High Pressure Resistance Corrosion Resistance 3K Carbon Fibre Rectangular Tube
The rectangular carbon fibre tubes are laminated from prepreg High Strength Carbon fibres and epoxy resin. The outer layer has a “twill” weave with the traditional “carbon look”. The fibres are laminated in different directions in the wall thickness of the tube. This ensures unique stiffness and strength as well as low weight. These rectangular carbon tubes are far more resistant to bending than metal alternatives.
Our high strength rectangular carbon fiber tubing is fabricated with unidirectional (UD) carbon fiber prepreg. Unlike metal tubing, carbon fiber tubing is designed with layers of fibers oriented at different angles to provide properties designed for a specific application. A variety of types or grades of carbon fiber tubing are available, as well as various exterior materials.
Rectangular carbon tubes are available in various dimensions and lengths.

This rectangular tubing is comprised of carbon fiber braid and unidirectional fabrics. This product is ideal for a wide range of projects such as building lightweight frames and structures such as trusses. Our carbon fiber rectangular tubing has been engineered to be much stronger under torsional and side loading than pultruded tubing. It is also significantly lighter than pultruded tubing.
Our carbon fiber rectangular tube has been designed so that the unidirectional layers are captured in a sandwich structure, eliminating longitudinal cracking and splitting. The finish on this product is different from our other product lines. These rectangular tubes show the texture of the carbon fiber braid with a wet shiny appearance.
