High Pressure Resistance Industrial 100% 3K Carbon Fibre Roll Wrap Tube
A Carbon Fiber Roll-Wrapped Tube is a cylindrical structure made using a roll-wrapping process with carbon fiber material. This manufacturing technique involves wrapping continuous strands of carbon fiber around a mandrel or core in a helical pattern, often with an epoxy resin matrix. The result is a tube with specific properties that make it suitable for various applications.
Roll wrapping carbon fiber tubes is the process we use for composite tubes that are smaller and shorter in length. LIJIN utilizes prepreg materials, including carbon fiber, fiberglass, kevlar, flax, and hybrids when roll-wrapping tubes. Rolled tubes are ideal for applications that require the highest bending stiffness and lowest weight, such as telescoping poles, automation robotics, idler rollers, and UAV components.
This carbon fiber tube uses high high-strength unidirectional T-700 equivalent carbon fiber core with an epoxy resin system to ensure a strong rigid tube that will meet your needs. In addition to this high-strength uni core this tube is finished with a beautiful 2×2 twill weave carbon fiber and then given a gloss finish. Due to raw material constraints, it is hard to create pipes exactly at a specific measurement unless they are built over-sized and machined down so that is why our pipes may be a few thousandths off from the ideal measurement we are trying to match.
Tubes are made with epoxy resin systems which have virtually zero water absorption making them more suitable for marine-based use than lower-quality tubing made with vinylester or polyester resin systems.
We have in-house paint facilities and are able to finish tubes with UV-stable paint systems, protecting the tubing against inevitable long exposure to the elements.
