The same applies to these special carbon tubes -> carbon square profiles, as to all our carbon semi-finished products, they are light, very resilient, and durable. They offer optimal performance for all areas of application with the highest demands. The prepreg carbon fiber winding technology specially developed by us is also used for these tubes. The inner and outer surfaces of these carbon fiber tubes are very dimensionally stable, so time-consuming post-processing to adapt them to their systems may not be necessary.
As with our round tubes, we also have the option of adapting the fiber directions to your individual needs with the carbon square tubes / square tubes via the fabric / non-crimp fabric. This allows us to adapt the CFRP pipes to a wide variety of load cases so that they have maximum tensile and compressive strength and torsional stability with minimum deflection. There is also the option of using different fiber types so that the carbon square tubes/square tubes can also be adapted for applications with special requirements, for example in terms of corrosion protection, heat resistance or electrical conductivity.
CONSTRUCTION OF OUR CARBON ROUND TUBES, CARBON SQUARE TUBES AND CARBON SQUARE TUBES
HT, UHT and IM carbon fibers are used for our square CFRP carbon fiber tubes as well as for our round carbon tubes. These are either impregnated directly with an epoxy resin matrix or previously processed into fabrics and fabrics and then impregnated. The resulting so-called prepregs are then wound using our specially developed molds and then hardened in the tempering oven. This is the core process of our production of carbon round tubes and square tubes. The specific flexural strength, compressive strength, tensile strength and torsional stability (per unit of mass) are therefore significantly higher than with corresponding metal products.
The weight saved as a result and the low mass inertia are the main advantages of our CFRP square/round tubes. At the same time, the semi-finished products get their particularly appealing fabric structure surface made of carbon, which is often preferred for optical requirements. Basically, we can also offer the surface ground, wrapped or high-gloss, painted. Since our carbon profiles are generally not susceptible to corrosion, they do not have to be additionally painted. The areas of application of all our CFRP products and semi-finished products are very extensive and cross-market.

How to make carbon fiber tubing?
Our carbon fiber round tube is rolled unidirectional carbon fiber fabric into a mandrel, and roll wrapped a 3k finish fabric exterior.
