Production Line:
Carbon fiber coiling process is one of the core technologies of carbon fiber pipe manufacturing, through the carbon fiber prepregs according to a specific angle and the number of layers wound on the core mold, through the curing and molding, and ultimately made of high-strength, lightweight carbon fiber pipe. The following are the main processes of carbon fiber winding process:
1. Raw material preparation
Carbon fiber prepreg selection: According to the product performance requirements, select the appropriate carbon fiber prepreg (e.g. T700, T800, etc.), and ensure that its resin content and fiber direction meet the design requirements.
Core mold preparation: according to the size and shape of the pipe, choose metal or composite material core mold, and carry out surface treatment to ensure smooth mold release.
2. Rolling process
Fiber layup design: According to the force requirements of the pipe, design the fiber layup angle (such as 0°, ±45°, 90°, etc.) and the number of layers to ensure that the product has excellent mechanical properties.
Automatic winding: Feed the carbon fiber prepreg into the CNC winding machine, and carry out automatic winding according to the preset program. During the winding process, the tension, angle and speed should be controlled to ensure even distribution of fibers without air bubbles and folds.
Multi-layer winding: According to the design requirements, multi-layer winding is carried out, and each layer should be ensured to be closely fitted to each other, avoiding delamination or gaps.
3. Curing molding
Pre-curing treatment: The rolled pipe is sent into the oven or hot press tank for pre-curing treatment to make the resin initially cured and stabilize the fiber structure.
High temperature curing: Under high temperature and pressure (usually 120°C-180°C), the resin is fully cured to form a dense composite structure. The curing time and temperature need to be precisely controlled according to the resin type and product thickness.
Cooling and demolding: After curing is complete, the pipe is cooled to room temperature and removed from the mandrel to ensure that the surface of the pipe is smooth and undamaged.
4. Post-treatment and processing
Surface treatment: The surface of the pipe is sanded, polished or sprayed to improve the appearance and performance.
Cutting and Processing: According to customer's requirement, use laser cutting machine or CNC machine to cut, punch or groove the pipe precisely.
Quality Inspection: Measure the size, strength test and appearance inspection of the finished products to ensure that the products meet the design requirements and customer standards.
5. Packaging and factory
Cleaning and protection: Clean the finished products and take measures against dust and moisture to ensure that they are not damaged during transportation.
Packing and storage: Packing according to customer's requirements and enter into the system, waiting for shipment.
