Low Carbon Steel Sae 1045 Steel Channel For Structure

AISI 1045 Carbon Steel Angle has a low corrosion rate in rapidly flowing brackish or seawater combined with excellent resistance to stress – corrosion cracking in most freshwaters. The resistance to a variety of corrosive conditions in our AISI 1045 Carbon Steel C-Channel led to its wide use in marine applications and other non – oxidizing chloride solutions. As would be expected from its high copper content, this AISI 1045 Carbon Steel Chain is rapidly attacked by nitric acid and ammonia systems. This type of failure in our AISI 1045 Carbon Steel I-Beam is generally associated by means of an environment containing chlorides as well as with stress, water, dissolved oxygen, and other factors. The tendency of austenitic alloys to crack trans – granularly in chloride solutions decreases as the nickel content of our AISI 1045 Carbon Steel H-Beam is increased. These AISI 1045 Carbon Steel T-Beam offer faster machining speeds, longer tool life, improved part quality, and lower total cost of machined parts. Our AISI 1045 CS Angle is forged between 2250 Degree F / 1750 Degree F (1230 Degree C / 955 Degree C) following a soak at forging temperature of 30 minutes per inch of billet or ingot section thickness.

AISI 1045 Steel is medium tensile steel supplied in the black hot rolled or normalized condition. It exhibits good weldability, good machinability, and high strength and impact properties to be used in various industrial applications.
AISI 1045 steel has a low through-hardening capability that recommended for tempering and through-hardening. Carbon steel AISI 1045 is a medium carbon, medium tensile steel supplied as forged or normalized. This steel shows reasonable strength and toughness. 1045 is the designation in both the SAE and AISI systems for this material. G10450 is the UNS number.
SAE 1045 Steel is used extensively by all industry sectors for applications requiring more strength and wear resistance than low carbon mild steels.
