Steel st20, C22E, C22R, 1.1151, 1.1149 - specification and application
Grade 20 is a simple structural carbon steel used in the production of low-load machine parts and structures with good weldability, not requiring high strength properties in a heat-treated state.
In the annealed state, the steel is characterized by good machinability, while in the normalized state, the material shows a much better susceptibility to mechanical cutting.
C22E / C22R steel is supplied mainly in the form of round bars, is intended for connecting rods, connectors, shafts, overhead cranes, bolts, pins, bushings, control shafts, axles, keys, rivets, wedges and hubs.
General mechanical properties of C22E, 1.1151, C22R, 1.1149 steel according to EN 10083-2
