Application:
Flat steel flat bar point to the the steel that the width is 12-300 mm, the thickness is 4-60mm m thick, and cross section is rectangle with the edge of a little pure steel.
Main use: flat as timber can be used in the system of hoop iron parts, tools and machinery.It also can be used as frame structure and escalator. Flat Bar is used for general fabrication, making structures and frames. Mild Steel Flat Bar can be easily cut and drilled, and is particularly suited to welding. Examples of its use include furniture making, machinery manufacturing, shipbuilding, railway spare parts, iron towers, steel structures, and boilers.

Cold drawn 1045 steel bar is a medium carbon steel grade with higher mechanical properties, fair weldability and limited formability. This grade is widely available and commonly stocked because of its excellent properties and cost. Eaton Steel Bar Company stocks several diameters of this grade to meet your demands quickly. All cold finished material is manufactured to meet ASTM A108 requirements. We also stock many sizes that are JDM QL-2 certified. Grade 1045 cold drawn steel bar provides greater dimensional control, improved straightness, and better surface condition to aid in machining. We commonly supply 1045 cold drawn steel bar to various industries like automotive, agriculture, ATV, and motorcycle.

Hot rolled 1045 steel bar is a medium carbon common steel grade with moderate weldability, higher strength, and impact properties for a variety of applications. 1045 steel is a common grade because of its cost and excellent properties. However, due to its lack of alloying content, this grade has limits on mechanical properties and options for heat treatments.
