1. Introduction of Card DOD Personalization Machine Two Sides Printing 36mm Printer Contactless Encoding YEDU-2A

Card DOD Personalization Machine YEDU-2A can print the two card sides in one pass by working with other functional modules. It is designed to personalize various smart cards by means of high-quality DOD (drop-on-demand) inkjet printing (KONICA 36mm wide printer head), RFID chip encoding (data reading & writing) (optional), magnetic stripe encoding (optional), scratch card labeling (optional) and laser engraving unit (optional) in a precise and speedy way.

It is for the personalization of financial card, social security card, membership card. Etc. Its main function includes magnetic stripe encoding, contactless encoding, double side DOD printing, OCR detection, etc.

Totally there are four models for Card DOD personalization YEDU series. They are YEDU-1A, YEDU-1B, YEDU-2A and YEDU-2B. 1 means one side printing in one side, and 2 means two side printing in one pass. A means 36mm wide printer, and B means 72mm wider printer which can realize card full-width printing.

Note: The line is of modular design which can be added with other optional functional modules including magnetic stripe encoder, OCR inspection unit, scratch labeling unit and laser engraving unit. The functional modules are described as below:

1. RFID Chip encoding unit (HF/LF)(Contactless or RFID Card encoder/RFID chip reader&writer)

It can read UID from almost all the RFID card chips (HF/LF chip) in the existing market. It can writing data, change initial passwords or sect keys in such RFID chips including Mifare S50, S70, Ultralight, Ultralight-C, Mifare Plus, Ntag203, Ntag213, Ntag216, Icode-2, FM11RF005M, EM4100(ID), ATA5577, EM4305). Speed: 7000 card/h in reading mode or 2000-4000 cards/H in writing mode, if the data to be encoded is bigger in size, the writing speed is slower.

2. Magnetic stripe encoder (magnetic stripe reader/magnetic stripe writer/magnetic encoding unit)

It can encode three tracks or any single or two tracks in magnetic stripe of various magnetic cards(excluding financial bank card) in a speedy and precise way, but the magnetic cards encoded by the Chinese module cannot fully meet the strict specification of ISO 7811 for high-end financial bank cards.Speed: 7000-8000cards/hour. 3. OCR inspection unit (OCR inspector/OCR verification unit/OCR verifier)

It is designed for identifying or reading the number, barcode, QR code printed on card surface to compare with the database to check the correctness of DOD printing. Speed: 7000-8000cards/hour.

4. Scratch labeling unit (scratch label paster/scratch labeller/scratch label applicator)

It is designed for applying or sticking the scratch-off label(s) onto the card surface after DOD printing. It can apply several labels (2, 3 or 4 ) on the card surface at the same time. Speed: 7000-8000cards/hour.

5. Laser engraving unit (laser marker/laser printer/laser etching unit/laser coding unit)

There are three types of laser units to be chosen. They are carbon dioxide CO2 type, optical fiber type and ultraviolet type. It can precisely engrave or mark serial numbers, English letters, logo, QR code, pictures and so on.

4. More details of Card DOD Personalization Machine Two Sides Printing 36mm Printer Contactless Encoding YEDU-2A

YEDU-1A is using 36mm wide printer head. It can print barcode, number, QR code and photos on partial card width area (no more than 36mm wide print area) on card surface, and it cannot realize full-width card print. If you need full-width card print, please choose the model of YEDU-1B or YEDU-2B (72mm wide SEIKO print head).

The difference between YEDU-1A and YEDU-1B lies in the print head model and maximum print width. YEDU-1A is using Japanese Konica 36mm print head which can only print on maximum 36mm width area on card surface, and YEDU-1B is using Japanese SEIKO 72mm print head which can realize full-width printing on card surface.

Both YEDU-1A and YEUD-1B can only realize one-side printing in one pass. If you need realize two-side printing in one pass, please turn to our longer personalization line models YEDU-2A or YEDU-2B.
