As the most basic component of the engine oil supply system, the fuel pump is responsible for extracting fuel from the fuel tank during engine operation, and continuously delivering it to the engine through the oil supply pipeline at a certain pressure. Then the high-pressure fuel pump pressurizes the engine for the second time, and provides a certain amount of fuel for each cylinder according to the working order of the engine.

Fuel pump: The ECU controls the DC motor to start, drives the impeller to rotate, increases the volume of the oil inlet chamber, and forms a vacuum oil suction. Under the action of centrifugal force, the blade is close to the pump housing, driving oil from the oil inlet chamber into the narrow gap of the oil outlet chamber, reducing the volume of the oil outlet, and forming high-pressure oil that is pumped out of the oil outlet.

Fuel Pump Control Circuit Principal3360 The fuel pump has three control circuit modes: ECU controlled fuel pump control circuit, switch controlled fuel pump control circuit, and speed controlled fuel pump control circuit. Consider heat dissipation, sound insulation, air resistance, etc.

At present, the fuel pump is built in the fuel tank, which is mainly used to suck the fuel out of the fuel tank and deliver it to the fuel supply pipe after being pressurized, and establish a certain fuel pressure with the fuel pressure regulator. The fuel pump is actually the fuel pump assembly, which is an integrated assembly.

Failure cause:

1) The sealing gasket at the junction between the gasoline pump and the axle box is too thick.

2) The pump film is broken or the joint between the pump film and the upper housing of the oil pump is not tightly sealed.

3) The inlet and outlet valves are stuck or poorly sealed.

4) Severe wear of the rocker arm reduces the travel of the pump film.

5) The pipeline from the gasoline tank to the gasoline pump is not smooth, or the pump membrane spring has passed.
