Electronic rearview mirror (CMS)
Electronic rearview mirror is a system composed of a camera and a monitor, which needs to clearly see the rear and side view of the vehicle within a specified field of view. It is a new type of indirect vision device, referred to as the "camera monitor system" or CMS in the new GB15084 standard.
Compared to traditional optical rearview mirrors, CMS has a smaller size and the rearview lens is replaced by a camera, which then presents the image on the display screen instead of the traditional intuitive lens. The viewing angle is more flexible and the field of view is wider, which can present better performance in environments such as night, rain, snow, and fog.
