How to distinguish forged valve from cast valve
Forged valve bodies are usually regular, most commonly square. The casting surface is relatively smooth, mostly arc transition.

Forging and casting materials are usually of different brands. The cast valve body is usually marked with material: ZGXX (ZG is the first letter of cast steel), WCB, WCC, WC6, WC9, CF8, CF8M, CF3M, CF3, etc. When you see this, it's cast.

The grains of the forged material are smaller and more even.
