2. Product description

Calcined Kaolin of foundry sand is a kind of clay and clay rock mainly composed of kaolinite group clay minerals, which is a kind of non-metallic mineral.

The mineral composition of kaolin is mainly composed of kaolinite, halloysite, hydromica, illite, montmorillonite, quartz, feldspar and other minerals.

The pure kaolin is white, fine and soft, with good plasticity, fire resistance and other physical and chemical properties.

a. Kaolin clay powder is used in Paper as filler.

c. Kaolin clay powder is used in Paints as a partial replacement of TiO2 pigment, and to improve the optical, mechanical and rheological properties and to enhance opacity, whiteness and scrub resistance.
d. Kaolin clay powder is used in Plastics to achieve smoother surfaces, dimensional stability and to reduce shrinkage and cracking during polymer compounding and shape forming.
