1. Production Introduction and Application
Calcined Flint clay of Chamotte sand is a kind of high quality hard refractory clay produced in Zibo area, Shandong Province, China.
The Al2O3 content of the standard raw ore is 38%, the Al2O3 content after calcination is about 44%, Fe2O3 < 2%. It has stable composition, uniform texture, compact structure, shell shaped section and white color, and is used to produce high-quality clay refractories.
The technical term is first-class hard clay clinker, the main chemical composition is Al2O3 and SiO2, with a small amount of Fe2O3 and a small amount of Na2O and K2O, and the main mineral is kaolin.
