1. Production Introduction and Application

Compared with traditional materials, the zircon sand has compact structure, bright and clean surface, high temperature resistance, good permeability and collapsibility, and high recycling rate.

So it can partically take place of traditional imported expensive zircon sand .

2. Main properties of zircon sand:

a. The fire resistance is above 1750-1800 ℃, and the chemical stability at high temperature is much better than that of silica sand, which can be used for Cast steel, cast iron and various non-ferrous alloys.

b. It is an electric melting material with compact texture and better durability than sintered ceramsite.

c. After heating, the expansion rate is about 1 / 5 of that of silica sand, which is roughly the same as that of zircon sand, slightly lower than that of chromite sand, which is used as molding material

d. It can effectively prevent the casting from expanding defects.

e. The price of zircon sand is cheaper, about 1 / 3 of traditional zircon sand and 1 / 2 of chromite sand
