Hydroxypropyl guar gum is the product of hydroxypropyl hydroxypropyl of guar gum. Hydroxypropyl guar adhesive has high viscosity, low water insoluble matter, good cross-linking and strong shear resistance, so it can be used for fracturing of low permeability reservoirs with different reconstruction scales and different well depths and temperatures.

Fracturing fluids are required to have a high capacity to carry sand. This means that fracturing fluids should have a high viscosity because when injected downhole, low viscosity can cause proppant to plug the wellhead and cause significant losses to the field. A certain amount of crosslinking agent can be added to the fracturing fluid of Guar gum to increase the viscosity of fracturing fluid.
