Biogas Storage Tanks For Pig Farm Biogas Project

Anaerobic digestion (AD), which uses farm waste streams such as animal slurries and agricultural biomass products, is seen as an important part of the continued growth of "green" renewable energy solutions worldwide. AD is the ideal solution to generate on-farm biogas and generate viable diversification income for the farm, and the by-product of the process is used as fertilizer.

The biogas produced by the anaerobic digestion plant is composed of combustible gas methane (50-75%), carbon dioxide (25-50%), water (H2O), nitrogen (N2), oxygen (O2), hydrogen sulfide (H2S), ammonia ( NH3) and trace elements (organohalides, siloxanes, etc.). H2S, CO2 and water make biogas very corrosive.
