Application In Production:
Cemented carbide inserts are widely used in manufacturing industry, such as V-CUT cutter, foot-cutting cutter, turning tool, milling cutter, planer, drill, boring cutter, etc. They are used for cutting cast iron, non-ferrous metals, plastics, chemical fibers, graphite, glass, stone and ordinary steel. They can also be used for cutting heat-resistant steel, stainless steel, high manganese steel, tool steel, etc. Processed materials. The cutting speed of the new carbide blade is hundreds of times that of carbon steel.
To be a powerful cutting tool in manufacturing industry, the cutting part of cemented carbide tool must bear great pressure, friction, impact and high temperature in cutting process. Therefore, cemented carbide insert must have the following basic elements:
1. High hardness: Hardness of cemented carbide blade materials will remain at least 86-93 HRA, compared with other materials expressed by HRC is still different.
2. Enough strength and toughness, also known as toughness, to withstand the impact and vibration in cutting, reduce the brittle fracture and edge collapse.
3, wear resistance is good, that is, the ability to resist wear, so that the blade durable.
4. High heat resistance, so that the carbide insert at high temperature can still maintain the hardness, strength, toughness and wear resistance.
5. The technological performance is good. In order to facilitate the manufacture of the tool itself, the cemented carbide insert material should also have certain technological properties, such as cutting performance, grinding performance, welding performance and heat treatment performance.
