Strong Character Cemented Carbide Mold Die Can Bear Very High Impact Strength
Introduction:
The tungsten carbide drawing die is made up of highly polished, heterogeneous holes through which the wire is drawn to reduce its diameter. The choice of mold materials, i.e. natural or synthetic single crystal diamond, polycrystalline diamond, cemented carbide, etc., depends on the material and working parameters of the wire to be drawn. Cemented carbide drawing dies are used in the wire drawing industry, drawing such as low carbon steel, high carbon steel, stainless steel, brass, aluminum and other different materials.
The drawing process of the carbide drawing die, as its name indicates, is to draw the wire with large diameter through the hole of the drawing die plastic deformation under the condition of guaranteeing the overall volume unchanged.
In more technical terms, it is the process of producing multiple sizes of wires within specified tolerances. The process involves reducing the diameter of a rod or wire through a series of holes in a drawing die, where the holes in the continuous die are smaller than those in the previous die. When the thread passes through the hole of the last mold of the series, the final size of the wire is achieved.
Notice:
When using the carbide drawing die, we should pay attention to five points: equipment selection, wire material pretreatment, selection of appropriate lubricant, abnormal treatment, aging and timely replacement.
1. Equipment selection: According to the material you want to draw and drawing equipment, reasonable proportion of the compression ratio of each drawing die, so as to determine the angle of each drawing die workspace. (which type of wire drawing die) should be chosen?
2. pretreatment of wire drawing materials, such as cleaning, rust removal, annealing, phosphating and so on, to ensure the cleanliness of materials.
3. Wire drawing powder, oil selection: select high-quality suitable wire drawing powder (lubricant, oil), do a good job of cooling wire drawing die.
4. Disposal of abnormal dies in time: If die cracking, die explosion, die sticking, scratching, shrinkage, broken wire, high temperature, die blackening, non-wear-resistant and other use problems, please contact professional and technical personnel in time.
5. Timely replacement of aging drawing die: When the drawing die reaches the service life, please change the drawing die to repair the die in time, so as to avoid the scrap of drawing material caused by excessive use of drawing die.
