Description

Product Description:

White corundum is produced by melting industrial alumina powder in an arc furnace at a temperature exceeding 2000 degrees Celsius, followed by a cooling process. The melted alumina powder is then ground, shaped, and subjected to magnetic separation of iron. Different products are obtained through particle size screening.
White corundum has a close texture and angular shape, making it highly suitable for making ceramics, resin consolidation abrasive tools, and grinding and polishing applications. It can also be used for sandblasting, precision casting, and in the manufacture of high-grade refractory materials.

White Fused Alumina, on the other hand, is a type of pure and clear Fused Alumina. Since it contains low levels of soda and silica, it enables the production of extremely white vitrified wheels. With the highest level of friability among aluminum oxides, it has a high level of purity and large crystal size. Consequently, its crystals fracture relatively quickly, constantly cutting crystals into smaller pieces.
