Key Features of 51 Lamp 395NM UV LED Flashlight Detector :

  • Very bright, good quality material, switch works fine and runs on AA batt.
  • This led flashlight could find leaks on A/C system in cars using Ultra Violet Dye.
  • There is a spring that needed to go thru a plastic guidance to assure connection to a contact plate in the battery container. Putting the plastic guidance in place and assuring it was in place and the contact plate was in the center was all I needed to do and the flashlight worked fine after that.
  • The on/off switch is covered with a rubber cap and the unit seems to be able to withstand normal moist and rainy days, though it is not waterproof.
  • Casing is black coated aluminium with criss-crossings on the handle, giving it a nice feel and grip when handling it.
  • Glass in front of diodes is plastic, which has a lower weight than glass and can withstand as much as glass, probably even better when you accidentally drop it since it won't shatter or break like glass unless dropped directly on something sharp.
