300gsm Carbon fiber CFRP fabric for tunnel Structural Strengthening
Carbon Fiber Reinforced Polymers Carbon fiber CFRP fabric for Structural Strengthening. These fabrics are applied onto the surface of existing structural members in buildings, bridges and other structures. The result is an externally bonded CFRP (carbon fiber reinforced polymer) reinforcement system engineered to increase the structural performance
Carbon fiber CFRP fabric has very high tensile strength and is also very lightweight. When bonded to the exterior of a concrete column, beam, or slab, it can add significant strength without adding weight that would increase the load on foundations and other structural members.
Carbon fiber CFRP fabric reinforced polymer fabric (CFRP composite strengthening system) for structural strengthening, repairing and retrofitting of masonry, concrete, steel and wooden substrates. CFRP composite strengthening of columns, beams, slabs, walls, piles, pier caps in building, bridge, highway, railway, tunnels, piers and civil airport.

Preparation works
Surface must be clean and sound. It may be dry or damp, but free of standing water and frost. Remove dust, laitance, grease, curing compounds, impregnations, waxes, foreign particles, disintegrated materials and other bond inhibiting materials from the surface. Existing uneven surfaces must be filled with an appropriate repair mortar. The adhesive strength of the concrete must be verified after surface preparation by random pull-off testing (ASTM D 4541) at the discretion of the engineer. Minimum tensile strength required is 200 psi (1.4 MPa) with concrete substrate failure (typical).
