A frequency-doubling material is coated on the glass or ceramic base. When an IR laser beam is illuminated on the coating material, the frequency of the IR laser beam will be doubled from IR to green wavelength. For 1064nm laser beam, the wavelength will be 532nm which is green.
The detectable laser wavelength is 800-1600nm, typical wavelengths 808nm, 915nm, 980nm and 1064nm. The detectable laser power is as low as 100mW.
