What is 5 Wire resistive touch ?

Just same as analog 4-wire resistive technology, an analog 5-wire resistive sensor consists of top and bottom sheets which are facing each other with a gap in between. Unlike analog 4-wire resistive technology, electrodes are placed on four corners of the bottom sheet in analog 5-wire technology.

Do resistive touch screens work with gloves?

Known as resistive touchscreens, these devices support bare and gloved fingers. Since they work using pressure instead of capacitance, you can use a resistive touchscreen device while wearing gloves.

How does a resistive touch screen work?
In simple terms, a Resistive Touch Screen is a touch-sensitive computer display that responds by applying pressure.When contact is made to the surface of the touchscreen, these two sheets are pressed together. Each sheet has horizontal and vertical lines that register the precise location of the touch.
