U14 U15 1170 × 570 × 90 Aluminum Compact ULPA Filter For Punification
Definition:
ULPA filters are a type of high-efficiency air filtration system designed to remove at least 99.9995% of airborne particles 0.12 microns or larger in size.
They are an even more stringent version of HEPA (High-Efficiency Particulate Air) filters.
Filter Media:
ULPA filters typically use a specialized filter medium made of extremely fine glass fibers, similar to HEPA filters.
The filter medium is designed to be even more dense and tightly packed than HEPA filters, allowing for the removal of smaller particles.
Filtration Efficiency:
To be classified as a ULPA filter, the filter must meet strict performance standards set by regulatory bodies, such as the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE).
The filter must be able to remove at least 99.9995% of particles 0.12 microns or larger in size.
Applications:
ULPA filters are primarily used in critical, high-purity environments where the highest levels of air filtration are required, such as:
Semiconductor manufacturing
Pharmaceutical and biotech production
Aerospace and defense industries
Cleanroom environments
Benefits:
Exceptional air purification: ULPA filters can remove an even higher percentage of microscopic particles compared to HEPA filters, ensuring an ultra-clean air environment.
Reduced contamination risk: The enhanced filtration capabilities of ULPA filters help to minimize the risk of product or process contamination in critical applications.
Increased efficiency: ULPA filters can maintain their high-efficiency performance even at high airflow rates.
Maintenance:
ULPA filters, like HEPA filters, require periodic replacement as the filter medium can become clogged over time.
Proper maintenance and replacement are essential to ensure continued high-efficiency filtration.
Terminal air supply of clean room or purification equipment (ISO Class 5 or higher).
U15-U17.
HEPA filter should be pre-filtration.
