PCT High Pressure Accelerated Aging Test Chamber for Electronics
PCT - High Pressure accelerated aging test chamber, also named as pressure cooker, cooking test machine or saturated steam test machine. High pressure cooking test adopts high pressure and high humidity conditions, mainly to evaluate the comprehensive influence of semiconductor integrated circuit and air sealed device and other electronic devices in plastic packaging. It is to evaluate the ability of moisture and heat resistance and sealing of electronic products by means of high acceleration test, which is often used in product development, quality evaluation and failure verification.
Pressure cooker test (PCT) structure:
PCT chamber is composed of a pressure vessel, which includes a water heater that can produce 100% (wetting) environment. The different failures of the tested products in the Pindar Pindar environmental test PCT test may be caused by a large amount of water vapor condensation and penetration.
PCT chamber standards comply:
1. IEC60068-2-66;
2. JESD22-A100; JESD22-A102-C; JESD22-A110-B; JESD22-A118;
3. GB/T2423 34.86
PCT chamber features:
1. The inner chamber material is stainless steel and mirror-polished
2. The saturated humidity, high temperature, high pressure tests to check products environmental reliability and durability.
3. Automatic adding water function, and automatic filling water upon the water short storage while testing.
4. Automatic operation to test process finished, easy to use.
5. Self-develop temperature controller, touch screen. Test parameters setting and display clearly.
6. Silicone rubber sealing around the inner chamber, high temperature resistance and airtightness.

An environmental test chamber, also known as an environmental chamber or climatic chamber, is a system that enables users to manipulate the environmental conditions of an enclosed space to run controlled tests on a subject. Researchers, engineers, scientists, and manufacturers utilize these conditions to push innovation and ensure whatever products they produce are safe for use.
Environmental test chambers can range in size from half-a-cubic-foot benchtop models all the way up to 12,000-cubic-foot, drive-in rooms.
There are also multiple environmental conditions that test chambers can recreate: temperature and humidity conditions, temperature only conditions, and corrosive conditions through the use of salt spray.
If properly maintained, test chambers can remain operational for 10 years or more.
The type of test chamber you need depends on a number of factors, namely the lab space available to you, the products or components you’re testing, and the standards to which you’re testing.
