Function in Textile:

CMC is used as textile sizing agent. Since CMC has stable characteristics and good film-forming properties, it has a high affinity with cellulose yarns and makes the film high-strength, reducing the "yarn skipping" and "end breakage" on high-speed looms. The sizing film formed by CMC is water-soluble and biodegradable. As a fabric finishing agent, it can replace traditional starch sizing and significantly reduce the environmental pollution caused by fabric re-sizing and desizing.
