Sodium Carboxymethyl Cellulose For Ceramic Billets
CMC can be used in ceramic body, glazing pulp, and fancy glaze. Used in ceramic body, it is a good strengthening agent, which can strengthen the mouldability of mud and sand materials, facilitate body shaping and increase the folding strength of the green body. Used in glazing pulp and fancy glaze, it is a binder that plays a role of suspending, deflocculating and water holding.
Application in ceramic penetration glaze
Penetration glaze contains a lot of soluble salt matter with partial acid property. CMC which used in penetration glaze has the excellent stability of acid resistance, salt resistance, and keep the viscosity stable in use or storage, and avoid the chromatic aberration caused by viscosity change, so it greatly improve the stability of the penetration glaze
*Good solubility, no blocking net and good net permeability
*Good compatibility with glaze to make the fancy glaze stable
*Good stability of Acid resistance, alkali resistance and salt resistance to maintain the viscosity stable of the infiltrate glaze
*Good property of the solution levelling, excellent stability of viscosity, and avoid the chromatic aberration caused by viscosity change
