Description

Color coated aluminum coil involves the application of a surface coating to aluminum plates, resulting in fluorocarbon or polyester color-coated aluminum. This material is widely used in aluminum composite panels, aluminum veneers, aluminum honeycomb panels, aluminum ceilings, roofing, edging, easy-open cans, and electronic products. It has stable performance, is highly resistant to corrosion, and can offer up to 30 years of quality assurance after special treatment. As the lightest metal material by unit volume, color coated aluminum coil is an increasingly popular new material.

Surface Coating

PVDF Color Coated Aluminum Coil
The PVDF color coated aluminum coil uses PVDF paint of famous brands like PPG, VALSPAR and NIPPON, which goes through duplex or triplex coating and high temperature baking to form 25–35μm thick cured coating. As the PVDF coating provides corrosion resistance, high weatherability, strong adhesion, high self-cleaning capability and is maintenance-free, the aluminum coated coil can remain color fast and durable for 10–15 years.

PE Color Coated Aluminum Coil
PE (polyester) coating is an UV-resistant coating. It can be classified matt and glossy according to coating gloss. The compact molecule structure makes paint surface luster and smooth, which assure good printing on the panel surface. With 7 year warranty for weather resistance.

Main Features

  1. Excellent Temperature Resistance

    • Aluminum has a melting point of 660 degrees Celsius, and typical temperatures do not reach this level, ensuring stability under heat.

  2. Environmental Protection

    • Resistant to yellowing, aluminum undergoes a chromium-free treatment to prevent discoloration commonly seen in laminates. The roller paint contains active chemical molecules that form a protective layer on the surface. These molecules are stable and easily recyclable, meeting environmental standards.

  3. Corrosion Resistance

    • Aluminum features a tight surface oxide film, providing strong adhesion and resistance to oxidation, acids, alkalis, corrosion, decay, and UV rays.

  4. Uniform and Long-Lasting Color

    • The color is consistent, soft, and vibrant, avoiding the chromatic aberration typical of traditional spraying. This ensures that even large surfaces maintain uniform color over time, retaining a fresh appearance.

  5. High Strength and Rigidity

    • Aluminum combines rigidity with toughness, allowing for easy cutting, slitting, curving, balancing, drilling, joint fixation, and edge compression molding, making it highly versatile for various applications
