Printed Color Coated Steel and Aluminum Coil

Printed color coated plates offer decorative effects such as wood grain, brick grain, camouflage, and marble.

The printing process for color coated coils typically involves gravure printing. This method uses steel rollers laser-engraved with desired patterns to transfer ink onto the surface of the steel plate.

Initially, the substrate undergoes pre-treatment including degreasing, cleaning, and passivation. After this, a layer of matching color primer is applied to the steel plate surface. Depending on the application, primers may include polyester, polyurethane, and other coatings. After drying and curing the primer, ink is applied through printing. Printing complexity ranges from single color to multi-color patterns. Once the ink is dried and cured, a varnish coating follows, which can be polyester, High Durable Polyester (HDP), fluorocarbon PVDF, or other types.

For higher printing quality requirements, such as fluorocarbon printed color coated panels, a three-coating and three-baking process is used. This involves applying a polyurethane primer, followed by a layer of matching fluorocarbon topcoat, ink printing, and finally a coat of fluorocarbon varnish. The entire production process for printed color coated panels includes cooling, coiling, and shearing after drying and solidification of the coatings.

Color Coated Aluminum Coils

Color coated aluminum sheet coils are characterized by their long service life, lightweight, excellent surface finish, and high recycling value, offering significant economic benefits that meet the urgent demands of today's socio-economic and environmental developments.

Our factory's aluminum color coating production line is equipped with Germany's Siemens complete line control system. The core painting process utilizes advanced German roll coating technology and a twice-coated, twice-hot air-curing coating technology to precisely control coating thickness and curing quality.

In the chemical treatment process, the color aluminum adopts a neutral treatment agent, roller coating treatment, and hot air rapid drying, distinct from conventional dip coating methods, effectively mitigating environmental impact.

Furthermore, advanced chromium-free treatment liquids are used for surface treatment to meet stringent environmental protection standards globally.

During the curing process of the color coated aluminum plates, volatile components can be recycled and reused, facilitated by an advanced VOC defluorination system that enhances heat energy utilization efficiency, achieves zero emissions, and completely eliminates environmental pollution.

Coating Types for Wooden Printed Galvalume Steel Coils

Depending on the environmental conditions and intended use, different resin coatings can be selected:

1. Polyester (PE)

   • Offers good formability and adhesion
   • Provides a rich variety of colors
   • Demonstrates superior durability outdoors
   • Exhibits good chemical resistance
   • Cost-effective

2. Silicon Modified Polyester (SMP)

   • Provides good wear and heat resistance
   • Ensures excellent exterior durability and resistance to abrasion
   • Medium cost

3. High Durability Polyester (HDP)

   • Anti-ultraviolet properties with excellent color retention
   • Exceptional resistance to abrasion
   • Good adhesion and a wide range of colors
   • Offers favorable cost performance

4. Polyvinylidene Fluoride (PVDF)

   • Strong anti-ultraviolet performance
   • Withstands prolonged exposure to severe weather conditions and various chemical environments
   • Excellent solvent resistance and dirt resistance
   • Limited color options and higher cost
