CW1500S is the best Ceramic Fiber Insulation made in its temperature class. It's rated to 2000 degrees F. Durability and performance are excellent. It is usually used in forges, kilns, black smithing, wood stoves, fireplaces, welding, boilers, bead-making, glass blowing, silver-smithing, soldering, insulating hot ducts, raku and pottery kilns, and many more.
