The conveying system of a coating production line is generally composed of conveyors, conveying tracks (including tensioning devices), conveying chains, workpiece carriers and other equipment. In some heavy or super-large workpiece production lines, from the loading area, pre-treatment, drying tunnel, spraying room, to the unloading area, the conveying system often runs through the entire coating production line to maintain the operation of the entire line. In the early stage of coating line plan design and formulation, different conveying systems should be designed in combination with factors such as the size and structure of the plant and the structural form, size, and weight of the workpiece.
For workpieces of different properties, the types of conveyor chains generally include light suspension chains (for relatively light and small workpieces), general chains (for workpieces that are not overweight and have simple structures), and cross conveyor chains (more solid than ordinary types). For overweight, oversized, or irregular and complex workpieces, it can also be designed whether to use self-propelled hoists or accumulation chains to convey the workpieces. Different conveyor chains are equipped with conveyors of different specifications. According to the actual situation of the factory, the characteristics of the workpieces, and customer needs, the conveyor track can be designed into aerial, ground, or underground slots. Workpiece transportation tools will also use manual handling, electric trolleys, lifts, ground flatbed trucks and other tools according to different requirements.
