COFDM technology offers robust digital video/data transmission in the most demanding scenarios of severe multi-path or no line-of-sight. Through innovative design techniques, we have eliminated the handicap that plagued this technology – high power consumption. The result is a higher RF output transmitter with less than half the DC power consumption of the competition. Avalon Rf has tested the wireless link to be robust up to 40 miles at 2.4GHz with normal 700mw power output in airborne applications. This winning combination is available in the frequency range of 450 Mhz to 5.8GHz.
