BSO3.5M3*12mm, BSO3.5M3*16mm Full Thread Hex Head Blind Hole Self Clinching Standoffs
Material for riveting studs
The materials used for producing riveting studs are carbon steel, medium carbon steel and stainless steel. Rivet nuts made of carbon or medium carbon steel are heat treated and plated with zinc or nickel.
Pressure rivet nut column production
The production equipment of riveting nut column is Taiwan precision automatic lathe, the spindle is equipped with five sets of cutting tools, equipped with fine-tuning screws, drilling, tapping, milling, chamfering at the same time, the concentricity is accurate, the surface is smooth and clean without turning tool traces.
Use of rivet nut column
The rivet nut column can be riveted and installed on 0.5mm thick sheet. After rivet, a firm internal thread can be formed on it. The riveting equipment is pressed parallel to the head, and the hexagonal edge of the riveting stud and the sheet metal are fastened to prevent sliding and falling off.

1. What is a clinch nut used for?
Clinch nuts are self-clinching, internally threaded nuts that are pressed into the base material. Often times, these high strength fasteners are used in material that is too thin to tap threads.
2. Why do boxers clinch?
Clinching is an effective defensive technique meant to stop your opponent's momentum. It is only allowed for a short period before the referee will break it up. By allowing clinching, matches can go longer because boxers use this method as an energy-saving defense in a sport with a grueling work rate.
3. What is self-Clinching standoff?
Self-clinching standoffs provide a solution when design engineers need to space panels and components in their metal enclosures. They are used to stack parts or keep components a defined distance from the panel in which they are installed.
4. How do you install self-Clinching standoffs?
It is preferable to install the fastener from the punch side of the panel. Place the fastener in the prepared hole in the panel and then locate the fastener in the anvil. With the panel held level, apply a parallel squeezing force until the hexagon head is installed flush to the panel surface.
5. What is a standoff fastener?
A Standoff is a fastener that is used to create space between two objects, often to properly position them. In the world of electronic compenents and electronic hardware, standoffs are typically used to space circuit boards, panels, doors or gears. Standoffs can be round, hexagonal or square in shape.
