Description

Describe:Extension springs supply a force by extending or pulling on them. Typically they are cylindrical helical springs made out round wire and have either machine loops or cross center loops. However they can be made conical, oval, barrel or virtually any other shape. The ends can be plane, extended, square or anything else you can imagine.

Although a higher spring rate reduces body roll, it comes at the expense of a harsher ride. "Not only will a softer spring improve ride quality, it will also enable the tires to follow uneven road surfaces more precisely for improved grip.
