Product name:
Insulating tube Silicone cold shrink connector for cable protection
Description:
Cold shrink tubing is a fast and easy way to weatherproof a RF coax connection for cell site,Unlike heat shrink tubing,it can create a permanent seal without applying heat ,so it is also known as no-heat shrink tubing.
Simply position the pre -expanded tubing over the connection that the protecting and pull the rip cord, the tubing will shrink and compresses to form a weatherproof seal.
Features:
1.Simple installation.
2. No tool or heat required.
3. Seals tight, retains its resiliency and pressure even after years of aging and exposure.
4. Resists acids and alkalies.
5. Resists ozone and ultraviolet light.
6. Operating temperature range- EPDM: -60℃ ~ 150℃.
Silicone: -50℃~200℃
Applications
Primary electrical insulation for all solid dielectric (rubber and plastic) insulated wire and cable splices rated to 1000volts
Introduction:
EPDM Cold Shrink Tubes are a series of open-ended, tubular rubber sleeves, which are factory expanded and assembled onto a removable core. They are supplied for field installation in this pre stretched condition. The core is removed after the tube has been positioned for installation over an in-line connection terminal link allowing the tube to shrink and form a waterproof seal. The insulating tube is made of EPDM rubber which contains no chlorides or sulphurs.
