2. Used in black and white photography; the gray scale contains 0 to 19 total 20 different tones from white to black, where M represents the middle gray tone (ie gray with a reflectivity of 18%); its reflection density It is 0.7; A represents a pure white tone with a reflection density of 0.05; B is equivalent to a reflection density of 1.65. Each cell has a density difference of 0.10. It is equivalent to the change in the exposure amount of the 13-stop aperture.
