Marbles that meet national standards should have a gloss of between 60 and 90 (by grade). The gloss of the marble can be measured using a 3nh NHG60 marble Digital Gloss Meter.
In the current natural marble sheet standard, the gloss value is graded, and the minimum gloss reading value of the same grade marble is different due to the chemical main component contained in the stone. The minimum gloss value of superior products is divided into three categories according to different chemical main components, which are 90, 80, and 60 gloss units, respectively. This minimum gloss value takes into account the influence of the composition, mineral composition and chemical composition of the stone on the polishing process, combined with a large amount of experimental data.
Product Introduction
NHG60 Digital Gloss Meter features with 60° angle, manufactured according to ISO2813 and GB/T 9754. It is also compatible with the standards of ASTM D523, ASTM D2457. NHG60 conforms to JJG696 first class gloss meter working requirement, corresponding with CIE 1931(2°) under CIE C light source.
NHG60 gloss meter can test material with gloss (0-1000Gu), and universally apply to paint, ink, stoving varnish, coating, wood products; marble, granite, vitrified polished tile, pottery brick and porcelain; plastic, paper; hardware industries, etc. for gloss measurement and gloss data transmission.
