Thermoplastic cable halogen-free flame retardant HF-600B
Low-smoke halogen-free cable material flame retardant HF-600B is a halogen-free environmentally friendly flame retardant with phosphorus and nitrogen as flame retardant elements. It is specially designed for thermoplastic polyurethane and thermoplastic elastomers. It plays a flame retardant role through the mechanism of char formation and gas phase flame retardancy.
Introduction: HF-600B is a halogen-free environmentally friendly flame retardant with phosphorus and nitrogen as flame retardant elements. It is specially designed for thermoplastic polyurethane and thermoplastic elastomers (flame retardant for low-smoke halogen-free cable materials); it plays a flame retardant role through the mechanism of char formation and gas phase flame retardancy. HF-600B flame retardant TPU and TPE can reach different flame retardant levels such as UL94-V0 (1.5mm) and UL1581 VW-1.
Application: HF-600B is suitable for injection molded parts and wires with general surface requirements. It is used in TPU and TPE flame retardant. Flame retardant materials are widely used in power cables, communication cables, geological exploration cables, automotive cables, etc.
Advantages: It is not restricted by the 2002/95/EC "Directive on the Restriction of the Use of Certain Hazardous Substances in Electrical and Electronic Equipment" adopted by the European Union and its Council; it also has the characteristics of smooth surface of parts or wires, strong precipitation resistance, excellent water resistance, excellent migration resistance, superior electrical properties, low smoke and low toxicity.
Packaging/storage: 25kg/bag; transported as general chemicals, stored in a dry and cool place, away from direct sunlight.
Processing precautions:
(1) When used in TPU, the raw materials need to be pre-dried, and the lower the moisture content, the better. Processing conditions should be as mild as possible to avoid degradation of thermoplastic polyurethane raw materials.
(2) HF-600B does not contain anti-drip agent. If it is used for injection molded parts, customers can add about 0.2% anti-drip agent (such as TF 1645 of 3M Company) as needed.
