Halogen-free flame retardant HF-601B for TPE
HF-900A halogen-free flame retardant is an environmentally friendly polyolefin flame retardant with phosphorus and nitrogen as the flame retardant element. Mainly used for high-end halogen-free flame-retardant thermoplastic elastomers and flame retardants for low-smoke halogen-free cable materials (TPE cables, TPU cables)
Introduction: HF-601B is an organic hypophosphite-based halogen-free environmentally friendly flame retardant. It has high thermal stability and is non-toxic. It uses an acid source combined with carbon and gas sources to play a flame retardant role. HF-601B can be added alone or used in combination with other halogen-free flame retardants to obtain higher flame retardant effects and better mechanical and electrical properties. Its flame-retardant cable products combined with melamine cyanurate can pass the UL1581 VW-1 test.
Application: HF-601B is mainly used for high-end halogen-free flame-retardant thermoplastic elastomers (TPE cables, TPU cables), and can also be used for halogen-free flame-retardant polyesters (PBT, PET), flame-retardant nylon (PA6, PA66), etc.; HF-601B can be added alone or used in combination with other halogen-free flame retardants to obtain higher flame retardant effects and better mechanical and electrical properties.
Packaging/storage: 25kg/bag; transported as general chemicals, stored in a dry and cool place, away from direct sunlight.
Advantages: Not subject to the 2002/95/EC Directive on the Restriction of the Use of Certain Hazardous Substances in Electrical and Electronic Equipment adopted by the European Union and its Council. The parts and wires produced have smooth surfaces, do not contain PH3, and have excellent precipitation resistance, water resistance, migration resistance and superior electrical properties.

Processing precautions:
(1) When used in TPU, the raw materials need to be pre-dried, and the lower the moisture content, the better. Processing conditions should be as mild as possible to avoid degradation of thermoplastic polyurethane raw materials.
(2) HF-600A does not contain anti-drip agent. If it is used for injection molded parts, customers can add about 0.2% anti-drip agent (such as TF 1645 of 3M Company) as needed.
