1612386900 Screw Compressor Air Oil Separator For Atlas Copco

Oil and gas barrel (or oil sub tank) is an essential device of screw air compressor. It is a pressure vessel that separates the compressed oil and gas mixture. There is an oil core, return pipe, safety valve, minimum pressure valve, pressure gauge and so on, installed on the tank body.

Oil tank is generally cylindrical 45 steel welded carbon steel tin can, horizontal and vertical two kinds of more commonly used, in the air compressor type selection, made of stainless steel oil tank is very rare, generally not. Another function of the tank is to store lubricating oil.

From the main machine out of the high pressure, high temperature (about 80℃) oil and gas mixture is along the tangent direction of the oil tank into the oil tank, under the action of centrifugal force, most of the oil in the oil and gas mixture is thrown to the inner wall of the oil tank, under the action of gravity along the inner wall flow to the bottom of the oil tank. The other part of oil droplets condense into large oil droplets in the process of collision, and finally sink to the bottom of the oil tank under the action of gravity, and continue to participate in the cycle.

The air filtered by oil core, through the minimum pressure maintenance valve, flows to the rear cooler for cooling, and then discharged from the air compressor.
