Sullair temperature control valve is the core temperature control element to adjust the temperature of air compressor oil and exhaust temperature.
Sullair temperature control valve is installed on the main oil pipe of the oil and gas separation tank to adjust the flow of air compressor oil according to the oil temperature.

When the oil temperature measured by the temperature sensing element of the temperature control valve is lower than the action value (the action value of the temperature sensing element varies according to the type of lubricating oil, and sullube is generally 83.24KT is usually 90),the lubricating oil directly into the screw host for lubrication, to avoid the damage of insufficient lubrication to the screw when cold start.
When the oil temperature measured by the temperature sensing element of the temperature control valve is higher than the operating value, the thimble of the temperature control valve acts to push the valve core to gradually open the bypass loop, so that part of the lubricating oil enters the cooler for cooling and then mixes with the straight through lubricating oil, and then enters the screw host after lowering the oil temperature.
When the temperature rises to high enough, the oil line directly to the main engine will be closed by the temperature control valve, and the lubricating oil will flow into the main engine after cooling by the cooler, so as to avoid the damage caused by the sharp change of oil temperature to the screw main engine.

Sullair temperature control valve maintenance:

1.Stop the machine for 10-20 minutes, observe that the P1 pressure drop is 0, and the air compressor oil in the oil circuit system completely returns to the oil and gas separation tank.

2.Remove the connecting bolt of the temperature control valve, remove the sealing ring, and carefully extract the temperature control valve core.

3.Clean the surface of the temperature control valve body, replace the new spool and sealing ring with the same specification, and reassemble the bolts for fastening.
