Hinge joint fence, commonly referred to as hinge joint field fence or farm fence, is a popular fencing option widely used in agricultural applications. This type of fence consists of vertical stay wires interconnected by horizontal line wires with knots at each intersection, forming a flexible yet durable barrier.
One of the key features of hinge joint fence is its ability to adapt to uneven terrain while maintaining its structural integrity. The hinge joint design allows the fence to flex under pressure, making it suitable for containing livestock and delineating property boundaries in challenging landscapes.
Hinge joint fences are commonly found in livestock enclosures, pasture management systems, and perimeter fencing on farms and ranches. They provide reliable containment for animals while offering versatility and cost-effectiveness for farmers and ranchers.
In summary, hinge joint fence is an essential component of agricultural fencing, offering flexibility, durability, and effective livestock management solutions in diverse environments.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Q1: Is High Tensile Hinged Joint Farm Fencing Different to erect?
While High Tensile Hinged joint knot fencing certainly requires different techniques to erect than mild steel, it is no more difficult. Most farms have access to a post driver that can easily drive in strainers to the required depth. Bending and tying off is simple when using the correct technique.
Q2: Isn’t High Tensile Hinged Joint Farm Fencing Expensive?
It is a common misconception that a mild steel hinged joint knot fence will cost less than High Tensile. High Tensile mesh rolls may be more expensive to buy, but this is more than compensated for by the reduced numbers of posts and labour required.
