Description:

DOW Corning 737 Neutral silicone sealant is a one-component, multi-purpose product. It does not need primer to adsorb on many materials and solidify into a tough elastic silicone rubber in water vapor air.

DOW Corning 737 has the following important characteristics:

• Excellent non-primer adsorption performance, can be used for many plastics, metals, coatings, glass and rubber surfaces.

• It will not react with metals or plastics or corrode them.

• Rapid curing: 3-6 minutes crust, 10 minutes watch dry.

• Curing 24 hours after exposure to moist air

• No collapse, sagging or dislocation

• Wide operating temperature range (-65-177° C) and short-term operation at 204°C

Use

Limitation

Dow Corning 737 silicone sealant is not recommended for:

• Continuously immersed in water

• Occasions of excessive corrosion and abuse

• Oil, plasticizers and solvents exuded from the material; materials such as soaked wood, oil crevices and some green and partially sulphur-hardened rubber gaskets and insulating tapes

• Sealants are not in a humid atmosphere but in a fully sealed place.

• On the surface to be painted, the film will not stretch with the sealant, brittle and tear will occur.

Curing Conditions under Sealing

Dow Corning 737 silicone sealant can:

• Decolorization of bronze, copper and other sensitive metals

• STRESS FRACTURE POLYCARBONATE

Dow Corning 737 silicone sealant is not used in medicine.

How to Use

Surface preparation

All surfaces must be completely clean and dry. All metal and glass surfaces must be scrubbed with solvent and dried with an oil-free cloth.

Primer

For a large number of glass, aluminium, steel and other ordinary materials without the need for a bottom layer. Materials must be tested before general use.

Use of Sealant

Dow Corning 737 silicone sealant must be supplied continuously. If necessary, the sealant can be expanded with tools and treated with tools immediately after the use of the sealant and before the formation of the epidermis.

Uncured sealants can be finished by tools, non-needle-in surfaces can be treated by a solvent, and permeable surfaces can be cured by many sealants.

Storage and life

The service life of Dow Corning #737 neutral sealant is 24 months (from the date of shipment) when stored at 32 C or below. When not in use, keep the container tightly sealed and avoid contact with damp air.
