Duplex & Super Duplex Stainless Steel SS Hydraulic Control Line Tubing ASTM A789

Tiptop offers a variety of duplex stainless steel and super duplex stainless steel welded pipes and seamless pipes, depending on the characteristics that the pipe needs to exhibit. Other materials and sizes can also be provided according to customer requirements.

Duplex stainless steel refers to a stainless steel with ferrite and austenite each accounting for about 50%. Generally, the content of less phases needs to reach at least 30%, which has a higher yield strength than austenitic stainless steel. Super duplex stainless steel refers to a duplex steel with PREN>40, containing 25% Cr, high molybdenum (>3.5%), and high nitrogen (0.22% to 0.30%).
