Description

General Purpose-56FR Split Single Phase cooler motor ODP with resilient base

A RSIR motor is also called a split phase single phase motor. Resistance start is the simplest way comparing to other starting methods, which leads to the cheap cost. This type of motor is usually used when the high starting torque isn’t required, and the frequency of staring is limited. It’s used from 1/4HP to 3/4HP cooler motor. It has two windings: start and run winding, which are displaced 90 degrees in space.
