Garland rollers do not only permit to be used instead of conveyor roller stations at the upper trough (upper belt section) but also at the lower trough (lower belt section) to support the returning of the belt. In a multi-sectional way, these conveyor rollers offer various linking combinations and suspensions and are often found with great belt widths.

Upper garland idlers usually have 3 rolls.

They can move either in a transverse direction or in the transport direction. Transverse mobility allows them to adapt to irregular loads. Mobility in the handling direction allows a reduction in knocks between large pieces of the material handled and the rollers supporting the belt.

Return garland idlers usually consist of 2 rolls positioned in a V shape to facilitate belt guide.

Garland idlers with 5 rollers can be mounted in the load points.

The 5 roll garland idler has a greater mobility allowing it to adapt to any form of handled material, thus absorbing shocks due to the impact of materials of large lump size.

If 5 roll garland idlers are used, rubber tread rollers are usually no longer needed for loading points.
