Heavy Duty Conveyor Steel Pulley Bend Pulley Drum For Belt Conveyors
A bend pulley is an optional component to belt scale weighing systems. The bend pulley provides a convenient interface to the conveyor belt to provide rotary motion for the speed sensor. A speed sensor installed using a bend pulley is subject to less slippage than if the speed sensor was installed at the head pulley. The speed sensor installation is easier when using a bend pulley as there is more room than is often available when the sensor is installed at the tail or snub pulley. The bend pulley also creates added clearance for the belt scale. Bend pulleys from qinyi are available in different sizes, and have options like stainless steel, epoxy coating, or 0.25" thick rubber lagging which discourages the build-up of material on the bend pulley. Each bend pulley is supplied with two pillow blocks.
The bend pulley function:
1. It is used for changing the direction of the conveyor belt.
2. It will increase the wrap angle between the conveyor belt and pulley drum.
3. It will increase the friction between the belt and pulleys.
4. It will be used to prevent the tape from slipping.

Our Pulley Feature:
1. The belt conveyor drum/ pulley is made by large seamless steel.
2. Use flame cutting machine to precisely cut tube.
3. Weld the pulley inner disc with professional welding machine.
4. Weld the shaft sleeve and disc with the positioner.
5. Process the outside circle with large drum lathe to guarantee the even wall thickness.
6. We select #45 round steel and sleeve to ensure the concentricity and reduction for the eccentric shaft force.
7. Equip the inner bearing enlargement device to avoid bearing damage from beating.
8. We will make the static balance inspection when the belt speed exceeds 2.5m/s.
